Have you been diagnosed with a specific kind of psoriasis?

There are many different types of psoriasis including plaque, guttate, pustular, and erythrodermic. Have you been diagnosed with a specific kind of psoriasis? If so, which one?

I have had pustular psoriasis on my left hand, affecting the thumb and two fingers for the past 17 years. Now, a small patch on my right thumb has shown up. This form of psoriasis is so painful, there are days that my left hand is virtually useless. Has there been any new treatments in recent years that are showing a positive result?
