One of the most common places where psoriasis can affect your life is at work. Coworkers and employers don’t always understand psoriasis and this can be stressful, frustrating and, at times, embarrassing. How does psoriasis affect your professional life and how do you cope?

Having psoriasis at work has led me to having to wear white cotton gloves (white because that is the only colour I can find). This has resulted in a lot of "funny comments" from my co-workers. Also, because the gloves are white and I am handling a lot of paper, ink etc. they get really dirty. Some collegues have looked at my hands in disgust because of this. I don't really think they take into consideration how I feel about it, nor do I think they care.
