Is anyone else finding that the changing weather in Canada is wreaking havoc on their skin!? Yikes. I have been having the worst painful flares.

My winter survival tips would be:
1. Get a humidifier! it works wonders
2. Take warm baths with a bit of olive oil or oatmeal
3. Eat well - avoid processed foods and such

I purchased an aloe vera plant, and have blended the pulp with some olive oil and have been using it morning and night and in my bath. In between, I moisturize with straight olive oil. I have found this to be very soothing to my psoriasis and I have also noticed an improvement.
